Bath Half & Oxford Half

We've worked with Running High - the organisers of the Bath Half Marathon since 2011 - managing and delivering all digital elements of their race communications - from e-newsletters, to social media streams and web content. We've also recently introduced them to the wonders of WordPress for managing their online content. In 2014 we have also supported Running High with their new half marathon in Oxford.
The Bath Half is a really amazing event. The runners raise a staggering amount of money (over £2m in 2014) and the organisers create a fantastic day for both the runners and the people of Bath.
The race has grown hugely since Running High took over the management of it, and back in 2011 they asked us to help to develop and deliver a digital strategy for the 2012 race. As well as the strategy we helped develop editorial calendars, we wrote content for their website, the runners’ newsletters and the Bath Half blog and we managed e-newsletter mailings and social media feeds. In addition we built a race day mobile site so that runners and spectators had access to the latest information on their mobile devices.
In 2014 we completed our third stint of work for Running High, working again on the digital elements of race communications. As part of this year’s work Running High wanted to try running their website on WordPress, so we integrated all of their digital communication into WordPress and they love it.
It has been fantastic to once again be part of an event that is fast becoming one of the most loved road races in the UK. The organisers take their digital communications very seriously and we received some wonderful feedback from runners about the Bath Half’s fast growing and engaging digital presence.
