Blue Sail
Website build
We've had the privilege of working with Blue Sail, a successful tourism consultancy and strategic marketing agency, on a couple of really great projects. This year we've had the pleasure of working with them on the new Richard III visitor centre in Leicester. We were only too pleased when they asked us to build the new Blue Sail website for them recently.
Once in a while you find a group of people that seem to see things from the same angle as you do and you find common ground on the things that make you tick. We love working with Blue Sail – their energy and enthusiasm for culture is inspiring and infectious.
We’ve also laughed together on a few occasions about how we’re so busy telling our clients how to do digital better, that sometimes we aren’t seen to be practising what we preach – both the Blue Sail website and the Thirty8 Digital website were in need of some attention last year!
Blue Sail were easy to work for – they wrote a clear creative brief for our designer to follow, and were up for lots of discussion about how things should look, feel and work on the site. They also seem to have taken to WordPress like ducks to water.
We communicated solely through telephone, email and Skype and delivered the project on time and to budget.
We know when a website project has been a success when we see a client using it – we like checking in to read their blog and to see some of the great work they are doing – which they showcase on their new site.
