Handel House Museum
Handel & Hendrix in London website build
In Spring 2015 we were commissioned by the Handel House Museum in London to design and build a new website for their reopening as Handel & Hendrix in London
In February 2016 the Handel House Museum in London relaunched as Handel & Hendrix in London.
Handel & Hendrix in London is made up of two residences: Handel’s house at 25 Brook Street and Hendrix’s flat at the top floor of 23 Brook Street. Handel House has been open to the public since November 2001 and Hendrix’s flat was the administrative office for staff. After substantial fundraising and support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Hendrix’s bedroom has been restored to how it was in 1968-69 along with additional exhibition and interactive space for visitors.
The Museum wanted a new, dynamic website which would reflect and support a significant brand, positioning and content change for the Museum. They required a site which would support their marketing activity, and which could flex and grow as their social and content marketing needs changed over time. The site needed to be user-friendly for non-technical staff to edit as well as having the ability to support a rich selection of online resources, including sound, video, imagery and text.
We also supported the Handel & Hendrix team during their busy launch period, managing their social media presence and social media advertising campaigns.
We have loved working with the team at Handel & Hendrix and are looking forward to working with them on an ongoing basis.
