We were asked by the University of Glasgow, on behalf of CRESH (Centre for Research on Environment, Society and Health) to help them find a way of expressing some of their research (and the questions their research has raised) on the web. This one one of our first bits of work as Thirty8 Digital and we loved working with a Bath-based animator to deliver this project.
CRESH’s research explores how physical and social environments can influence population health, for better and for worse. Recently they’ve been doing lots of thinking about the impact of the Big Society and how they might measure that impact.
Working with local animator Chris Day we produced a one page website which features Chris’s stunning animation about the Big Society and how it might have different impacts in different areas. When it first launched the site also included functionality that enabled audiences to fill in simple data about themselves and whether they thought Big Society was going to work well in their area.
