  • Project : HomeOwners Alliance website

The HomeOwners Alliance is a relatively new organisation championing, supporting and serving Britain’s 17 million homeowners and 5 million aspiring homeowners. HOA's chief executive, Paula Higgins, approached us in 2012 and asked us to build their website. We still feel really proud when we look back at this website and are so happy that Paula and her team use the site constantly. They are our model client when it comes to creating new, fresh and relevant content and we enjoy supporting them technically on an ongoing basis.

  • Project : American Museum website

We’ve had the huge pleasure to be involved with the team at the American Museum in Britain working on a new website for them. Not only does this museum have collections and an exhibition programme to die for it also has the most beautiful views and gardens, and the best home-made cookies in the cafe! If you haven't been to the American Museum, you really, really must go.

  • Project : KCA website

One of the best things about working at the Science Museum in London was the amazingly talented, interesting and inspiring folk that we got to spend our days with. Some of those amazingly talented folk now work for KCA London, a partnership which creates ‘visitor experiences’ in museums, galleries and science centres around the world. We didn't need too much persuasion when Kate Cole asked us to develop KCA London’s new website.

  • Project : Medical Research Council Toxicology Unit website

The Medical Research Council's Toxicology Unit required a new website that would be used by both internal and external audiences. This is the second website we have done for the Medical Research Council and it needed to have a distinct look and feel but one that would sit comfortably within the MRC's design identity.

  • Project : Medical Research Foundation website

Recently we have done a few web projects for the Medical Research Council (MRC) - a publicly-funded organisation dedicated to improving human health. One of the most difficult parts of our job when working with organisations like this, is trying to stop becoming distracted by the fantastic site content - we could spend all day just reading about MRF's life changing work. This latest website was for MRC's independently managed charity - the Medical Research Foundation - which required a new, stand alone website.

  • Project : Blue Sail website

We've had the privilege of working with Blue Sail, a successful tourism consultancy and strategic marketing agency, on a couple of really great projects. This year we've had the pleasure of working with them on the new Richard III visitor centre in Leicester. We were only too pleased when they asked us to build the new Blue Sail website for them recently.

  • Project : Birmingham Museums Trust website scoping report

During Spring 2013 we completed a scoping exercise for the new Birmingham Museums Trust website.

  • Project : Somerset Art Works website

Somerset Art Works is an artist-led organisation dedicated to developing the visual arts. They approached us in early 2014 to help them scope out a digital strategy and use this to inform the build of a brand new website.

  • Project : Virgin Earth Challenge website

We’ve recently had the privilege of working with the Virgin Earth Challenge team on a new website for this hugely inspiring project. The Virgin Earth Challenge is a $25 million dollar prize for an economically sustainable way of removing carbon from the air. As people who are very concerned about the environment – this stuff really resonates.

  • Project : University of Bath Innovation Centre website

We've done a lot of work with the excellent people at the University of Bath Innovation Centre - not least of all they host the monthly BathCamp meetups that we've been running for the last five years so we were delighted when they asked us to help them scope and deliver their new website for them.

  • Digital signage with WordPress and a Raspberry Pi

We’re in the middle of building a little project at the moment for our lovely clients, The American Museum. It’s a bit out of the ordinary for us and takes us into unknown territory – but we like a challenge.. We’ve already been developing some prototype builds with Raspberry Pi’s – among them a really nice project […]

  • Half it in size. Then half it again.

I’m sitting looking at my inbox. It’s a bit full – I’ve been away for a week. I’ve done a bunch of culling but in there are three newsletters catching my eye, all from museums or museum related people. Out of interest, I just pasted each one into http://wordcounttools.com. They average 1,400 words each. Here’s my mental […]

  • What do you need help with?

Yesterday, we revamped and updated our resources section – these are free worksheets, guides and templates which are supposed to help organisations get a better handle on digital engagement. As I mentioned in that post, we’ve had 5,000 downloads of these resources, and we also get a lot of positive feedback about these at the workshops and […]
