We love these guys, not least of all because they have a cool mammoth as their logo, drawn by the amazing Quentin Blake. They’re also a team who have a huge and very visible sense of passion about their mission and audience.

We’ve been working with the KiM team since 2018 – first of all helping them to develop a digital strategy and then to build and grow their website. We’ve been helping them ever since, and growing the site with them – interactive maps to show their “Takeover Day” participating museums, a growing resources section, and much more.

We have been working the Thirty8 Digital since 2018 when they were the standout choice to create our new website. Mike and his team really took the time to get to know our Kids in Museums during the design and development period and their approach was friendly and accessible throughout. The project was completed on time and within our limited budget and we were delighted with the end result. Our new website has had a huge impact on our online profile and enabled us to reach new audiences. Their down-to-earth approach to ongoing support and understanding of the museum sector has been really valuable to us as we have continued to develop our site. I would highly recommend them for any heritage website project.

  • Fiona Booth, Digital Engagement Officer, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth City Council Arts and Heritage Service

  • Mark Pajak, Head of Digital, Bristol Museums, Bristol Museums

We are generating a huge amount of rich multimedia and narrative which we wanted to publish online to complement our exhibitions programme. User research has shown that our audiences engage better with longer form content rather than just a database front-end. Thirty8 Digital developed a stunning, flexible theme which allows us to rapidly develop narrative content in a way which is complementary to the exhibition development process....
