Description

In January 2012 we were commission by Blue Sail to deliver part of a MLA (Museums, Libraries, Archives) funded piece of work on Cultural Tourism for the South West Regional Museums hub (Bristol Museums; Russell Cotes Museum, Bournemouth; Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro; Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery, Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter). Thirty8 Digital delivered the digital strand of this Cultural Tourism project, advising the Museums on aspects of their web or digital presence.

Client

Blue Sail

Blue Sail worked with Rachel and Mike on a project helping the South West’s top museums grow cultural tourism. The sound, practical advice and imaginative ideas they offered to the museums on digital marketing were perfectly pitched. Rachel and Mike were easy to work with – unfailingly positive and constructive – and we would love to collaborate more in future.
— Lorna Easton, Director of Blue Sail

What people say

  • Mark Stevenson, Mark Stevenson

Thirty8 Digital are rather like a good pair of thigh-high boots. Bold, comfortable and they help you stand out from the crowd, but the engineering is top notch....

  • Niti Acharya, Hackney Museum Manager, Hackney Museum

We had lots of ideas about what we wanted to do, but not about the specific steps required to make anything a reality – we use digital in our daily lives and learn most things on the job in the best way we can. Working with Mike at Thirty8Digital helped us crystallise what we wanted to achieve, why and how we would do it....

You and your team have provided us with an excellent piece of work which we can build on or update if we need to for a stage 1 application ...
