We worked with the Freud Museum on both their digital strategy and also an audit of their web presence.

Our aim throughout both projects was to help give the museum a better sense of direction in all things digital. The Museum has an amazingly rich web presence – filled with incredible stories and images all about Freud and his family. We found tens of thousands of pages on their main site: archives, events, images and visitor information.

As is often the case, the amount of content that had built up over the years had become slightly overwhelming – and the Museum wanted to find ways to focus their work.

We worked with the Museum to develop their draft engagement strategy – they used our digital strategy framework to help shape this. Then for the next piece of work we carried out a brief digital audit to help them pinpoint the exact areas they could focus on with limited resources and time. This covered a range of areas from usability to SEO.

After this piece of work we went on to develop the new Freud Museum website.

We did this in...

2016
Freud Museum is a small organisation with limited in-house expertise, and Thirty8 Digital has been a lifeline for us. This is a friendly, down-to-earth agency that is deeply committed to helping arts & heritage organisation with their digital. Mike took the time to get to know our organisation, and has consistently gone beyond the call of duty to support and advise us. Thanks to Thirty8, the apparent complexities of our digital ambitions have become far less daunting, and we are making great leaps in pursuing our digital goals.

  • Gary Tuson, County Archivist, Norfolk Record Office, Restoration Trust & Norfolk Record Office

When we secured the funding for Scaling Up Change Minds from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, one of our first priorities was to appoint a web developer.   The Change Minds website needed to serve multiple purposes:  as an advocacy too for Change Minds, as a source of information for potential partners and participants, and as a tool for delivery of individual Change Minds 12-week mental wellbeing programmes.  The site also needed to be easy to manage and update once the Scaling Up Project finished and Change Minds projects started rolling out across the country.  We also wanted it to look good! Working with Mike and the team at Thirty8 has helped us achieve all of this....
